Ah! An Idea!

At first, I was a little upset that I had no vacations coming up in the near future and therefore could not post anything interesting to my "travel" blog. Then I had a great idea! I have pictures and anecdotes from a whole lifetime of travel - all of which took place before this blog was started! So today I thought I'd share with you just a few of the photos I took over the years! This picture was taken by me in New York City. I literally just stuck the camera out the window and pushed the button. I was shocked at how well it turned out. It's the view from the Marriot East Side. I was there in 2003 for New Years Eve in Times Square.

This photo is looking north up the California coast. My mom and I were driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco up the Pacific Highway. I think this was in 2003 also (I have absolutley no concept of time). We're somewhere north of San Simeon, parked on the side of the highway.
I took this picture in Savannah, Georgia. I have no clue what that building is or why it's important - I just thought it was pretty. I stopped in Georgia while driving from Toronto to my cousin's house in Tampa, FL. I love Savannah, especially the park on the river - and all the spanish moss. This is a statue in some plaza in Havana, Cuba. I was there in 2005. I was staying in Veradero, and went into Havana with a tour group for the afternoon. Unfortunately, I have absolutley no clue what this statue is or in what part of town I was even in when I took it. I took so many pictures that day....anyway if you know what it symbolizes or why I would want to take a picture of it, please comment.

This is a picture I took in Nogales, Mexico, just after crossing the border. (If you can't read it, the sign says "Bienvenidos A Nogales"....Welcome To Nogales!) My mom and I were visiting Phoenix, AZ and decided to drive to Mexico for the day. My mom loves Mexican art, so we had a great time shopping in all the cool markets there.

Ok! That's it for now! I'll post more from the holiday highlight reel later. I have thousands of pictures to tide me (and you) over until I go on a trip again. First, I need to get a job....
