We left Chicago the next afternoon, but not without one last stop to Wacker Drive. The drive to Detroit was pretty uneventful.
But I did see a very pretty rainbow just as we were pulling into Detroit city limits.
The next day, before we began our long journey back to Toronto, we stopped off at The Henry Ford Museum - THE coolest museum I've ever been to! We saw such sights as:
There were also a lot of important historical artifacts, such as

The bus (and seat) Rosa Parks was on when she defied Jim Crow laws in Alabama by refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger
The chair President Lincoln was sitting in when he was assassinated

And the car Kennedy was in when he got shot.

It was an amazing museum - a great way to end an amazing vacation.

And so, we crossed the bridge back into Canada, and made our way home. I had a wonderful time, and I hope you enjoyed travelling with me, even if it was just virtually.
