Sigh....Chicago

Alright....I've had it with this damn computer. For some reason, it likes to shut itself off whenever I'm trying to upload videos from my camera to the computer.....so you'll just have to wait and see the videos when I get home. I'll burn you a DVD. It will be fun.

BUT, the pictures still work....so I'll show you those.

Anyway, we got to Chicago, ate at a restaurant, then went to bed.

Oh yes, I forgot to post this picture in yesterday's blog. This is the Chicago skyline while heading into the city.

Here are some pics of the crowd and the outside Wrigley Field before the game.....and the crowd during the game. Note all the Blue and Red jerseys....

And the famous Wrigley scoreboard from both inside and outside the stadium....Cubs Vs. CardinalsWow....I've got a great zoom on my camera!!!Hooray!!! Cubbies Win!!! 3-2 in the 11th inning.I took this picture of the stadium while we were waiting for the El after the game. The view down West Addison st. - the sidewalks were PACKED full of people! It took us 20 minutes to walk a block.Me after the game, in my brand new Cubs shirt!

So.....after the game, we went on a little walk through Chicago.

The corner of Madison St. and State St. at duskAhh....the famous Chicago Theatre. Appearing that night was Melissa Etheridge. It was ALL LESBIANS!!! A whole fleet of them blocking the sidewalk! I saw one dude, but he was pretty gay so it didn't count.Doin' the Wacker Drive! Wow...cool picture! Here we are looking west on Wacker Drive at dusk....And east on Wacker dr.!I'm not sure what these buildings are or why they're important, I just thought they were pretty, so I took pictures of them. Here's a view of the Chicago river from the State St. Bridge at Wacker Dr.And this is the enterance to the Chicago Tribune building. And finally, a picture of me sitting on the fountain at Millennium Park. I saw a spoon in the middle of the fountain, so I took off my shoes and went in to fish it out. Now I have a spoon from Chicago!

Stay tuned for more!
