Kronche Time

It's almost time - we leave tomorrow.

That means I have to pack today. My good ol' bag-with-wheels finally died on me, so I'm using some 0ld fashioned luggage, courtesey of the late Mrs. Segarini. (Thanks, Merc...) I am only assuming that the weather in Chicago will be exactly like the weather here....hot uptown, windy near the lake.

We got tickets to a Cubs game on the Friday. That'll be fun...the hot dogs at Wrigley alone are apparently worth the trip. I have to get in lots of pat-time with the kitties before I leave...I'll bring them back some swanky American kibbos or smuggle some 'nip cross the boarder for them.

Hopefully, the video camera will work on our trip....I didn't have a cord to plug it into the laptop, so I sent Mom on a mission to find one. I think she found one, but now there's an issue about the software or something. Anyway, we won't be able to test it out until we're on the road, so hopefully it works.

I made the CD's to listen to on the trip last night. Bob, in his infinate wisdom, picked out some really cool tunes. I can't wait to hear what they sound like on the road.

Well, back to packing.
